In recent times, the cost of higher education has increased dramatically. Over the last 10 years alone, the cost of an out-of-state scholarship has increased nearly 42%, while sending an in-state student to UNLV has increased 38%. From a financial and budgeting standpoint, this has put considerable strain on the funding of intercollegiate athletics.

In order to meet the challenges created by the increasing cost of higher education, the importance of raising money through private fundraising is clearer than ever. The Rebel Athletic Fund works to raise awareness and financial support for UNLV Athletics through building relationships with Rebel alumni, fans and friends throughout the world. The scholarship contributions raised by the Rebel Athletics fund are essential to the enhancement of Rebel Athletics, helping grow and maintain the successful tradition of UNLV.

Although unrestricted gifts to the Rebel Athletic Fund are the most vital, donors also have the opportunity to designate a gift to a specific sport or program area. Unrestricted gifts allow the athletics department the most flexibility in its ability to serve the needs of our Rebel student-athletes. However, regardless of your preference, your support is greatly appreciated and paramount to our success.
